How adopting a Devon Rex kitten works
From the first message to the day your kitten travels home: when reservations open, what a deposit holds, the updates you will get while you wait, and exactly what comes home with your Devon Rex.
Reservations
We begin accepting reservations for our Devon Rex kittens when they are approximately three to four weeks old. Reservation openings are announced through this website.
All adoption enquiries should be made by private message, so we can give you individual information about the kittens available and answer your questions properly.
Reservations are handled on a first-come, first-served basis, in the order enquiries reach us. A kitten is officially reserved once a deposit of 50% of the total adoption price has been received, and the remaining balance is due before homecoming.
Once your deposit has been received, your kitten moves from Available Kittens to Reserved on this website.
To reserve a kitten
A 50% deposit of the total adoption price. The balance is due before homecoming or on the day you collect.
How the queue works
First come, first served, in the order enquiries reach us. Message us privately and we will tell you honestly where you stand.
Reservations open at
Three to four weeks old, announced on this website.
Regular kitten updates
Once your reservation is confirmed, you will receive photos and videos every two to three weeks. You get to follow your kitten’s growth, development, personality and progress right up until they are ready to join your family, so the first meeting is never the first time you have seen them awake and busy.
Homecoming and delivery
Our Devon Rex kittens are ready to leave our care at approximately twelve to fourteen weeks of age, depending on their individual development and our vet’s recommendations. We never send a kitten home before twelve weeks.
Before going to their new homes, every kitten receives
- Age-appropriate vaccinations
- A complete veterinary health examination
- Regular deworming
- Microchipping, where applicable
For families who need delivery, we work with a trusted professional pet transportation service whose partners specialise in the safe and reliable relocation of cats. Delivery may be available throughout the United States, and international transport is considered case by case.
We stay in communication throughout the journey and pass on updates whenever they are available, so you have peace of mind while your kitten is travelling to you.
When you adopt from us, you receive

Registration and breeding rights
Registration and pedigree documentation depend on the kitten’s registration status and on the terms of your individual adoption agreement. For kittens sold as pet-only, registration or pedigree documents may be provided after proof of spay or neuter, where that applies and the contract requires it.
If you are interested in a Devon Rex for responsible breeding, please tell us before you place your reservation, so we can discuss that kitten’s eligibility, registration, documentation and breeding terms with you.
Breeding rights policy
Breeding rights must be agreed and paid for before any breeding takes place. A kitten bought under a pet-only agreement may not be used for breeding without prior written approval and the purchase of the applicable breeding rights.
Unauthorised breeding in violation of the signed agreement may constitute a breach of contract, and may result in the penalties set out in the adoption agreement.
If you are planning to breed, let us know before reserving your Devon Rex, so the right registration and documentation are prepared from the beginning.
